Kinda Sorta Maybe?

I am NOT 100% sure that this is correct! Trying to figure out 8 possible outcomes down to 4th place tiebreakers is confusing, especially with Dancing With the Stars on in the background!!! AAAAAAAAAA

Anyway......I think

If North Carolina beats UCLA
1st place - Kristen Mann 101
2nd place - Steve Goldberg I 99
3rd place - Steve Goldberg III 95 (wins tiebreaker)
4th place - Chuck Leavens 95 (loses tiebreaker)

If North Carolina beats Memphis
1st place tie - Joshua Dunnack 97 (unbroken tie)
1st place tie - Robin Blomstrann 97 (unboken tie)
3rd place - Kristen Mann 95
4th place - Steve Goldberg I 93

If Kansas beats UCLA
1st place - Melissa Reynolds 98
2nd place - Tracey Leavens 96
3rd place - Steve Goldberg II 95
4th place - Keith Luckenbach 93 (wins tiebreaker)
Joe Gambolati 93 (loses tiebreaker)
Tony Mamunes 93 (loses tiebreaker)

If Kansas beats Memphis
1st place - Tony Mamunes 99
2nd place - Melissa Reynolds 92
3rd place - Haley Blomstrann 91
4th place - Tracey Leavens 90

If Memphis beats North Carolina
1st place - Bob Hodgson 92
2nd place tie - Joshua Dunnack 89 (unbroken tie)
2nd place tie - Robin Blomstrann 89 (unbroken tie)
4th place - Kristen Mann 87

If Memphis beats Kansas
1st place - Tony Mamunes 91
2nd place - Jorge Guerra 89
3rd place - Bob Hodgson 86
4th place - Melissa Reynolds 84

If UCLA beats UNC
1st place - Woopa 98
2nd place - Rick Berkenstock 94 (18)
3rd place - Lia Straub 94 (14)
4th place tie - Erin Cross 94 (13)
4th place tie - Karen Paruolo 94 (13)

If UCLA beats Kansas
1st place - Steve Goldberg IV 93
2nd place - Woopa 92
3rd place - Melissa Reynolds 90
4th place - Lia Straub 88 (wins tiebreaker)
Tracey Leavens 88 (loses tiebreaker)
Erin Cross 88 (loses tiebreaker)
Rick Berkenstock 88 (loses tiebreaker)

These standings are NOT official until after it happens. At that time I will add up the brackets the way they are, not the way they might be which is what I just tried to do. Please double check your bracket and let me know if you think you belong somewhere on the "leader board".

Here is a reminder of what the tiebreakers are:
8. First tiebreaker is having the correct winner of the championship game. Second tiebreaker is having the correct winners of the Final Four Games. Third tiebreaker is having the most Final Four teams correct. Last tiebreaker is adding up the seed numbers of the 8 teams you picked for your Elite Eight, correct or otherwise!!!

And finally, what you are really interested in is the $$$

140 entries x $5 = $700

1st place - $350
2nd place - $200
3rd place - $100
4th place - $50

In the event of ties the two places are added and split evenly. Ex: If Josh and Robin tie for 2nd they each get $150; 2nd place $200 + 3rd place $100 = $300 split evenly is $150

Comments:
I've said it before; I'll no doubt say it again ...

Steve, you've done a masterful job of running what is no doubt becoming one of the largest brackets pools in the state. The onerous computations are certainly one thing you're to be congratulated for, but the comments and byplay you provide make this an exercise to look forward to every spring.

Should Kansas actually defeat UCLA in the final, and I win a little money (thank God for 'Nova's two wins), I'll be glad to use some of it to buy you a generous beverage of your choice.

Thanks again.

And BIG CONGRATS to Melissa, Matt, and baby McKenna.

Thank you. I now have a rooting interest! :-)

My error: The new Reynolds's name is spelled Mckenna.
