Selection Sunday is right around the corner!
2009 NCAA MEN'S POOL RULES
1. Fill out the entire bracket (do not pick the play in game) and hand it in with your $5 before noon on Thursday, 3/19...Payment due with bracket. I don't want the $5 without the bracket or vice versa. Don't be late, don't leave blanks, and print yourself a copy!
2. Scoring is 1 point for each first round game correct, two points for the second round, 3 for the 3rd, 4 for the 4th, 6 for the 5th (Final Four) and 8 points for the championship game. Bonus points...if you correctly pick a 14, 15 or 16 seed to win a game you get 5 Bonus Points plus the number of points for the round (1 + 5 for a first round game, 2 + 5 for a second round game, etc.
3. First tiebreaker is having the correct winner of the championship game. Second tiebreaker is having the correct winners of the Final Four Games. Third tiebreaker is having the most Final Four teams correct. Last tiebreaker is adding up the seed numbers of the 8 teams you picked for your Elite Eight, correct or otherwise!!!
4. Please write your name ONLY in the space provided. I use the blank spaces to keep score.
5. Please only use the bracket provided...it is a pain in the butt to have to look all over the sheet for a game!
6. Please do not use uncommon abbreviations. UNC is fine. UW is not. If I can correct over 100 of these things you can write out Washington.
7. Have a thick skin...I WILL make fun of your picks, if not your family.
8. Do not use a red pen!
9. The pool is open to the extended network of families and friends of East Hampton High School, East Hampton Middle School and E. O. Smith High School (since Marilyn is away please give EO entries to Scott).
10. I will not hunt you down to ask for your pool! If you want to participate you know how to find me (or Scott).
